Kulta on toiminut vihkisormuksen materiaalina muinaisesta Egyptistä lähtien, missä sormuksia vaihdettiin ikuisen liiton symboleina – käytäntö on dokumentoitu jo 3 000 eaa., eikä sen perusmuoto ole muuttunut sen jälkeen.

I wasn’t sure about the taper at first, but it’s actually what makes this ring so comfortable—snug at the bottom without any pinching. The 5.5mm crown gives it plenty of presence, and the solid 14K gold feels dense and substantial on my finger.

Wore it daily for two weeks and the tapered fit is genuinely comfortable, doesn't spin like thinner bands do. Only wish the polish didn't show every tiny scratch so easily, but that's gold for you.
