I was nervous about the weight, but the gold is surprisingly light on the ears — I've worn them for eight-hour days without any pulling. The swivelling bails are a clever touch, letting the coin face flip and catch the light in a way that feels like a real find.
The texture on these coins catches light beautifully every time I move my head, and the shepherd’s hooks stay put even after a full day of wear. I’ve gotten three compliments already, and they feel substantial without being heavy.
The texture on the gold is what sold me—it catches the light so differently than any polished pair I own. I’ve worn them three days straight and they haven’t tarnished or pulled on my lobes, thanks to those shepherd’s hooks. They feel weighty but not heavy, like actual treasure.
