I was a little worried the solid gold band might feel heavy, but it's actually perfectly balanced on my finger. The halo of pink and red rubies around the center stone makes the whole thing look so much richer in person.
The ruby mosaic catches light from every angle, and the solid gold band feels substantial without being heavy. It sits flat against my finger like a proper signet ring should, yet the halo of red and pink stones makes it feel far more delicate than I expected.
