De Grace Wide Band is met de hand vervaardigd uit massief 9K, 14K of 18K geel goud in Australië, met een taps toelopend profiel dat versmalt van 5,5 mm bij de kroon naar 2 mm en een hoogglans afwerking overal. Goud dient sinds het oude Egypte als materiaal voor de trouwring, waar ringen werden uitgewisseld als symbolen van eeuwige verbondenheid - een praktijk die al gedocumenteerd is vanaf 3.000 v.Chr. en sindsdien in essentie onveranderd is gebleven.

The high-polish finish really catches the light beautifully, and the band feels substantial without being heavy. I wish the taper were a touch more dramatic, but it's a solid everyday ring that's held up well so far.

The tapering from 5.5mm down to 2mm gives it a really flattering silhouette that doesn’t feel chunky on my finger. I went with the 14K and the high-polished finish has held up nicely so far, though I do wish it had a slightly more rounded edge for all-day comfort.
